Uosis
has been working on his jewelry. This is a silver necklace,
hand-pierced (almost two days of painstaking work!). The inspiration
dates back half a century to high school drafting class. The teacher
would show these isometric forms to the students, who would then
develop front, side, top views for a blueprint.
This piece was entered
in the Metal Inclinations II online Jewelry Exhibition, and won an
Honorable Mention (not to mention a $100 gift certificate
for supplies). Click on the photo to go to the show.
